musician and Ivor Novello award winner Ken Hare, Chris has a working background
of nearly forty years in live entertainment. Starting as a stage manager for the
likes of Morecambe & Wise, through to booking current stars such as Paul
Merton and working on pop video location shoots with Big Brovas, Chris has
accumulated a fund of anecdotes personally tailored for all age groups. Be it a
major after dinner speech, afternoon or even breakfast meetings, Chris has
spoken at an extraordinary diverse range of venues from the prestigious London
Savoy Hotel and Connaught Rooms, to Scotland Yard at the Fingerprint Bureau
annual dinner, to local church halls for retirement clubs. Dinners have included
all the major banks, Waterford Crystal awards, Chamber of Commerce functions –
University of the Third Age – Rotary International – Roy Castle Cancer
Charity and even The Institute of Welding! At lunches, dinners, charity events
and award ceremonies, he has spoken alongside such diverse celebrities as Ray
Galton and Alan Simpson; Ned Sherrin, Ronnie Scott, numerous Water Rats (the
